Pets Rock Product Reviews by Takkoda

I was contacted by the lovely Sophy and asked if I would like to review some Takkoda Pet Rocks products.  I took one look at the website and absolutely loved the variety of animals imitating celebrities. They instantly made me smile and laugh when I saw the different characters and jumped at the chance of reviewing items from their collection. Animals in wigs highly amuses me and one look at these brightens up my day.

Pet Rocks was launched in 2008 and mixes the population's desire for celebrities and pets. They have a wide range of products for sale such as clothing, mugs, chopping boards and iPad/ iPhone accessories. I think this is a genius idea and is highly innovative. 

The two products I received were the *Pets Rock GG cushion and the *Pets Rock Breakfast USB Power Bank Battery.

The *GG Cushion is of exceptional quality and measures a square 43x43cm which is a decent size. The cushion arrives with the padded insert included which, when I have been searching for cushions to purchase in the past, a lot of them are for the cushion cover only. 

I was highly impressed with the softness of the cushion, the print of Lady Purr Purr ie 'GG' (Yes I made that name up!)

It features a faux suede on the back part which is also great quality and has a lovely soft feeling to it. The cushion has a zip fastening on the side so that you can clean it in the washing machine.

The design really stands out from the crowd and would make a feature wherever you chose to place it. Here you can see it situated on our sofa and the colour pops against the grey hues.

The *Breakfast USB is a portable charger which has rechargeable batteries inside enough for four cellphone charges / two smartphone full charges or a full tablet charge. The design is sleek, at the fashion forefront and has a Breakfast at Catnies design on the front. ( Not actually called that. I just made the Catnies part up!) I love the slimline design and the silver- mirrored back part too. This charger will be incredibly handy for travelling with even on day trips as my iPhone charger doesn't last a full day especially if you use the apps. It would also be fantastic for use at festivals or anywhere there isn't a plug socket available. I've not owned anything like this before so it's very beneficial and I will make good use from it.

The Portable Power Bank has tonnes of useful and practical features and has been extremely well thought out. On the back of the packaging you can see some of the other characters that are available for other products too. It's fun to try and match up the celebrity to the animals.

Bobby's Life

Age: 

I've just turned 11 years old.

Breed:

 A Himalayan chocolate point persian cat and I am super fluffy with cotton-wool soft fur.

Eating: 

I love cat biscuits more than anything but I have to have wet food too as I had bad cystitis when I was two and nearly died. My favourites are Iam's and I love Whiskas pouches. I am really fussy and my mummy has tried me on everything. I also love ham and roast chicken too and get this for my supper. I cry randomly for treats too. My favourites are Dreamies and Temptations. I love cheese so much, especially the soft cheese as I lick it off my mummy's finger and get carried away and bite it.

Drinking:

 I'm not a big drinker and never have been but when I do I have fresh water as anything else will cause my tummy to be upset. I love the brine which is in the tuna tins too.

Playing:

 My favourite toys are magazine inserts, ribbon, string, tape measures, crisp packets that have been folded up into a little ball, laser lights, reflections from the sun and flies. I try to eat ribbon and string and  also like to rub my gums on the corners of objects and nibble them. Mummy had to throw three bins away in the past as I bit all of the corners. Every time I have been to the bathroom I have a mad do and run everywhere. I paw at the carpet at imaginary items and run as fast as I can. I also like to run and jump randomly at doors. I love catnip and get very relaxed off this. I rub it all in my face and fur and then lie on the floor for ages afterwards. I run with my brother too as I want him to chase me but most of the time I am in my own world and wonder what he is doing when I realise he is chasing me.

Friends:

 I am super shy so I don't trust or make friends easily. I have one friend I suppose and he is a Persian cat too called Cinnamon. Other than that I just love knowing where my mummy is and sitting beside her all the time. 

Watching:

 I love watching flies and trying to get them if they fly in the room. I love watching mummy cook to see if I can get lucky and get given some meat. I watch to see if the puppy comes near me and I bat him away with my paw if he sniffs at my face. I've watched the fish in the BiOrb a few times but then I lost interest and went back to sleep. 

Listening:

 I listen for the alarm going off in the morning as I know that mummy will feed me my breakfast. I don't wake her up though I just wait patiently. I listen for the sound of mummy's footsteps especially if she is going into the kitchen and I also listen out for the rustle of packets as I think these must be my treats.

Day-dreaming: 

I daydream about rolling in catnip and being hand fed treats.

Wearing: 

I don't wear anything apart from my fur. Mummy has put the occasional sparkly clip in my fringe or a nice sticker on me but apart from that I like to be naked.

Exercising: 

The exercise I mainly do is running up and down the stairs to the toilet, running after I have been to the toilet as fast as I can, wandering outside for fresh air and jumping at doors. I do lots of exercise in my sleep though.

Meet Cinnamon!

This is my cream self Persian named Cinnamon-Fudge and he is now seven years old.
He is an incredibly sociable cat and has been an explorer ever since he's been tiny. He was the only one born from the litter and used to go around to all the other female cats for attention.

His favourite things are;

• Cream cheese
• Mini pom poms
• Exploring
• Bags of any kind to climb into
• High places such as the top of doors that he has been known to balance on
• Greenhouses on hot days to sunbathe!
• Little plastic tags from clothing
• Magazine inserts
• Knocking small items off anywhere he can see them and when you pick them back up he does it again.
• Being stroked on the side of his jaw
• His little nose being rubbed at the top

My heartbeat Bobby !

Meet one of my fluffy heartbeats !

Here is Bobby aka BobBob, Baby, Barbie, Bob. He's a chocolate point Persian and is now ten years old. I absolutely love him to bits. He is incredibly loyal and timid and has the softest cotton-wool like fur. He is quite temperamental at times and has autistic tendencies. He is very much in a world of his own and prefers to be sat where he can see me at all times.
Cat biscuits make him incredibly happy and he enjoys spending time by the fridge in case any passer-by's happen to open it up and give him something! He has the most gorgeous sea-blue eyes and is sat next to me right this moment whilst I type <3
