A dash of sequins on NYE from Bank

Hope everyone has had a fantastic start to the New Year :)

The alarm went off this morning after the Christmas break and I thought it was still Sunday and that it had gone off by accident!
My new years resolutions are;
<3 To drink more water
<3 To wear a different make-up item, piece of jewellery and clothing each day as I have so much that I need to get wear out of it all.
<3 To read at least one book per month. I absolutely love reading books mostly autobiographies, children's / teenager books, recipe books, humorous ones, fairytale-esque book and basically anything that I find interesting.
<3 To accomplish as many tasks as I can on a day off so that everything is organised and sorted.

I think that is all of them for now that I can think of!

So onto my outfit for New years Eve. The *Ribbon Sequin Top Maxi dress from Bank was originally £55 when I blogged about it and then dropped to an amazing £15 in the sale. Unfortunately it has now sold out when I have just checked but they do have other stunning options available. This Ribbon from Bank dress that I chose to wear is from one of my favourite ever shops and I blogged about it showing the accessories here. This dress made me feel glam and really dressed up and was absolutely perfect for New Years Eve.

The sequins are a really gorgeous shade of purple which complimented the black of the maxi length incredibly well. The top part was comfy to wear as with other sequin dresses they tend to rub on your inner arms and it starts to really hurt and you can't wait to get it off at the end of the night but with this one it's perfect. The black chiffon material on the skirt part is great quality and is quite long but perfect if you wear heels like I did with it. It has a short black skirt underneath to keep your modesty covered up (even after drinking mojitos like I did!) and the rest is quite sheer.

Overall I absolutely love this dress and always shop at Bank when I know I have a special occasion coming up.

My new favourite dress <3 with the first Mojito of the night in my hand! The dress has cut out sides which you can see on the above photo.

The dress features an open sheer back which in hindsight maybe I should have worn a stick on bra. Ah well at least it was purple and matched the sequins!

 New hair colour <3
Hairband- Primark
Necklace- Primark
Make-Up - Benefit
You can see the purple of the sequins clearer on this photo.

Hope you all had a great NYE ,

Love Laura xoxo

OOTD Autumn blue tartan

Selfridge's Primark blue tartan pvu dress // Pretty Little Poppet cat ears // rainbow jewelled cross Primark // Born 2B Pretty polish by Lush Lacquer.
So this is the Tartan dress that I bought from Selfridge's Primark for £13. In fact my whole outfit from head to toe is Primark. I definitely needed some Autumn attire as my wardrobe is made up of going out dresses and ice-cream shades!
It's still been quite warm outside which is rare for October in the UK so it puts me in the mood for wearing my dresses. As a matter of fact I would still wear this if it was snowing- I would just add a black jacket/ cardigan.

I love my IPhone5 case -it's pink and it's a Nintendo Gameboy- winner! I have a few cases for my phone that I love but I have kept this on for a good couple of months now as it's easy to take on and off unlike some that you feel that you have to chisel off!

I adore wearing headbands and accessories and these cat ears I bought from the gorgeous Sophie who owns Prettylittlepoppet. I actually bought two pairs as I couldn't decide which ones to get (story of my life!)She is the designer and founder and makes clothes which you can purchase from her Facebook page here. She has a wide variety of fabrics to choose from and many design which she makes to order for your measurements :) She has an amazing personality and is a star :)
I first discovered her by just browsing FB and I've been a fan ever since. She made me a made-to-measure Barbie outfit which I wore to my Birthday and I absolutely loved it! <3

The necklace was a gift from my mum :) I love rainbow crystals and this is large and stands out and again is from Primark.

The shoes are new out from Primark and were only £6. I needed some black shoes as they go with many outfits and through the day I always wear flat ballet shoes. I love the bow and the diamante detail too as I love bling.

The nail polish is Born 2B Pretty from Lush Lacquer that I bought from Etsy. I wrote a review on it here.

Alfie says hello. He is like my little shadow following me everywhere :)

Tartan-ia OOTD

This week I will  be away on holiday so I've scheduled this post before I've gone away as I wanted to keep posting and not leave a void.
This is one of the dresses I bought whilst in Selfridge's and showed in my haul last week.
It cost only £13 and it fits really well. I love the black tie detail at the neck. The material is quite loose and floaty which I love.
Even though I usually go for pinks and pastels I must have subconsciously known to move to darker colours for Autumn as I'm also dressed in head to toe black today.

I teamed it with this diamante necklace from Topshop to add a lightness to it and the ring I bought from River Island.

Necklace- Topshop //                          Tartan dress- Primark//                   Ring- River Island//

                                                 Full outfit-
                                                 Black shoes- New Look

So that's my outfit of the day look. It's been beautiful weather too which makes me reach for dresses even more :)

OOTD #1 Peachy perfection

Here is outfit #1

I actually wore this last Saturday to a house party. I declared I had nothing to wear (which if you were to look I have plenty!) and came across this dress that I hadn't worn before. I originally bought it from Bank online.

The heart ring is an old one from Rebuplic - I love the pastel pink and the heart shape with the little diamantes around the edge.
I really like the Blonde + Blonde peach blazer ( which I bought from Bank)  paired with the cream TFNC dress as it blends well.

I bobby pinned my hair up into a front quiff here and use my curling tongs to give a bit more definition to the curls.

The nail polish was quite day glo and minty which I loved and it's the first time I had worn it. The brand is Color Club and the shade is London Calling. I got them in a Birchbox that I subscribe to and you can get a four pack of colours from here for £10.

Necklace- Primark- from a pack of 3.
