Totally Tropical bargains - Wednesday Wishlist

River Island Orange Tropical hairband // BooHoo Tori Tropical playsuit // George Pineapple top
River Island Eclectic Tropical Hair Slides // Boohoo Leulah skirt // Missguided Laurinka Pineapple body
Boohoo Nancy Tropical Skirt //  George Tropical print Tankini  //  Missguided Gonsala hotpants

When the sun shines in the sky it makes me feel totally tropical. Today's wishlist focuses upon affordable tropical prints as I like a bargain. All the items shown here are under £12.

Tropicals are perfect for summer BBQ'S, festivals, holidays or simply for adding brightness and personality into your wardrobe. I love hair accessories, especially clips and hairbands as they add extra glam to your hair. Wishlists for me make me just want all of the items. It doesn't satisfy me to see them on the page as I just want to own and wear them! The more I search, the more things that I find that I think that I need in my life!
Playsuits are great as you have an all in one outfit so it takes less time to co-ordinate but they're always tricky when it comes to bathroom time! However I'll overlook that for the cute print on this one. I also adore the Missguided pineapple body.

Now I just need a tropcial holiday, a fresh, cool cocktail and I'm sorted :)

A Candy Clothing Wishlist

Happy Friday everyone!

I discovered the brand Candy Clothing on Twitter and first saw their mint green bracelet and thought it would be perfect for Spring. After taking a little peek on their website, I found that there were so many items that I loved. When I hear the word Candy, I conjure up in my mind sweet delights, hot weather, fun and colourfulness and this is what this brand delivers.

Candy Clothing is an international clothing line which is based in London and was founded in April 2013. Here I have picked out my favourites from their website. They have a wide range of products available for both male, females and children and lines include nails, t-shirts, boots, sweaters and jewellery.

The design are as sweet as sugar and right up my street. So let's take a little look at my wishlist.....

I love how the grey colour of this sweater sets off the pink doughnut and Candy logo. Doughnuts are irresistible and having one on your top to me is amazing.

I love the colours that have been used on these and all of the bling. These would finish off an outfit perfectly. I like how the nails are ready to just glue on and go.

I adore the colours that have been used on these nails and the intricate flower patterns too. You get 20 nails, so in effect, two sets here. How gorgeous would these be for a wedding?

Sweeties and desserts on a bracelet = heaven and this is jam-packed full of fimo polymer clay charms.

I think this is one of my favourite items. It could be worn with so many items to candy it up and therefore makes it ultra versatile. It's described as candyfloss and cream which sells it to me in itself. All of the items are available in a range of sizes too.

I didn't use to like hats at all but in the past couple of years I can't get enough of cute hats and this is one of them. Again, I love the contrast between the hot pink and the grey as it sets it off perfectly. These are in one size and are essential for that nippy wind that we still seem to be getting.

This was the item that I fell in love with on Twitter which kick started this wishlist. I love the mint green colour set off against the gold and they also have a pink version too which I need.

This is a soft feel sweater and combines my two favourite colours.  I would love to wear this as I like to be snuggly and warm.

Finally, what better way to see a donut dessert on your hand than this delicious looking dessert?

What's your favourite pick?

My Primark Birthday Haul

Hello everyone!

Last Tuesday was my Birthday and so at the weekend I took a trip to Primark in the city with my Birthday money/ Primark card that my family kindly gifted to me. I was poorly but nothing much will keep me away from one of my favourite stores. A few years ago I wouldn't have a care in the world and would just pick up whatever I liked. If that meant ten dresses then so be it! However fast-forward a few years and  I have started to think about what I actually want/need before I go shopping. Especially when I have a budget, I now think carefully about what items to buy.

I knew this time I needed flat shoes, pyjamas, new onesie and some underwear. The rest of the items I bought were pretty bonus Birthday items. The items I have chosen are bright, colourful, quirky and very girly. I know exactly what I like with clothes and the brighter the better! But saying that I do have black, navy blue and skull items so it just depends.

Also is it just me that crams that much into their basket that you've then go to decide the final cut before you go to the till? Anyways here are my gorgeous items that I absolutely love.

I love neon items and loved the colour of this jumper. It was also on sale for £5 and so was the skirt for £3. I love getting good deals. I thought the two would actually look great together but also separately with other items in my wardrobe/rail/drawers (ahem.)

I saw this pastel statement necklace and loved it straight away. It was £6 and I wore it to the Missoni on Sunday with my aqua bow dress. It looked beautiful.

This is a hot pink dress (a shift) that has a detachable statement jewelled collar with it. I loved the colour of it and I also love how it has the jewels. It was £13 and will be perfect for Spring. In fact I might wear it this Saturday night.

So cute! I have my Bambi ones and Minnie Mouse ones of these slippers but Minnie has turned into Mickey because Alfie tore the bows off them and ran off. I love being comfy and so when I spotted these for half price (£2) I wanted them as they are really cute.

I needed a new water bottle for either exercising or taking Alfie long walks and I loved the colour of this one! They also had it in neon green too but I only needed one. Although for £1.50 they're an absolute bargain! I also got these gift bags which are two in a pack for 50p each. They're gorgeous and will be perfect for popping peoples' presents inside.

This is the other statement necklace that I bought. It's pastel pink an has diamantes so therefore I love it and it was £5.

I saw these pyjamas and I needed them. I love the candy pink of the shorts and I love the milkshake! These were £5. Especially with it becoming warmer I can no longer fall asleep in my onesie as one time I woke up and I thought I was in the desert I was that hot!

I originally went to get the rainbow and clouds onesie as it is so prettiful :) I saw it last time but put it back and bought a jacket and some leggings instead. Do you know when you can't get something out of your head? Well this was the onesie. I spotted it and just before I grabbed it I fell in love with the aqua dinosaur one! I nearly put one back but decided to get both in the end. Don't want any regrets do I! The rainbow one was £10 and the dinosaur was £11. They must be putting up the prices for the new ones.

I saw these daisy nails just before I went to the till and got them on a whim as I thought they would be perfect for Spring time and also because  have quite a lot of blue dresses and also a yellow skater one that they will look beautiful with. The cupcake ones are just beautiful. I have them in purple and needed these as soon as I saw them.

I love the pink polka and the bows so these also went into the basket and look at these gorgeous ombre blue nails with glitter!

New shoesies! I use to have so many flats in every single colour but all of a sudden they just needed to be thrown out due to wear. I have way too many sandals and I saw them in the store already and resisted. I love the pink and orange flats and the pretty detail inside. These were £4 each. I saw the biker boots just on their own on a stand. They were my size and reduced from £18 to £10 so they were meant to be. I love biker boots and wore my last ones until the heel was so worn down. I just find that they go with so many outfits and rock it up a bit.

I saw a clutch bag with this cartoon style on too but I resisted. I have tooooo many bags and so only buy ones that I think I need in my life. All nails were £1 each!

The best socks ever for £2. Donuts oh my word gorgeous. I started off with lots of socks like these but had to put them back as I started to run over budget. I put Barbie and Alice in Wonderland back and would have loved those too.

Oh my goodness I spotted these and needed them straight away. A donut top and an ice-cream top! £5 each and possibly the prettiest items in my wardrobe :)

Disney items <3 Love this top. It was £6. I really like the colours on it and the repeated pattern. I saw these princess nail files and bought them because they will look great on my dressing table on display. They were only £1.50 for five. I love this Minnie Mouse tub collection too. It contains another little tub inside of it and will either be perfect for my lunches at work or for popping nail art inside of them.

I bought two different shades of this Hello Kitty lipstick but one has disappeared! They were £1.50 each and I love the vibrant colour of the pink. The other one I bought was a coral colour. They had four different shades in store.

So that's my Birthday Primark haul and I love every piece I chose. I did buy underwear but haven't photographed it and also bought my mum a couple of items for Mother's Day too.

What's your favourite piece?

#BritishBloggerSelection Week 3 Favourite clothes shop

For week 3 of #BritishBloggerSelection which is Ellie's group over at Little Vintage Camera the theme is Favourite Clothes Shop.

Clothes, clothes, clothes. I absolutely adore clothes. I love them so much that I can't fit them into eight drawers, a wardrobe and two rails. I do feel better when I have had a clear out because as the saying goes 'Tidy house, tidy mind' but I still have lots and I still want more <3

So my favourite clothes shop(s) would be Bank, Primark,  River Island and sometimes Topshop.

I adore Primark for its bargains and could happily spend half a day in there as I absolutely love it.
I love River Island for its dresses, jumpers, shoes and cutesy hats.
J'adore Topshop for its jewellery, dresses and makeup section.

However Bank is gorgeous. I cannot walk past this shop without running inside to see the new collections. I love their own brands ( my favourite being Ribbon) and I love Lipsy and Paul's boutique. I was only on their website a few days ago and there are so many utterly stunning pieces that it makes me want them all.

Here are some of my favourites and a link to their website.
(All photos taken from their website here.)

I had to stop here and get off the website quickly because I could just buy it all!
These are absolutely stunning pieces and make my heart flutter!
As you can see I love holographic, hearts, sparkles, turquoise, bling, being comfy, studs, hot pink and black <3
These items are perfect and I want them all :)
These items are perfect for the festive season and also for Christmas gifts.

What is your favourite clothes shop?

Here are my pick of items that I need to own!

Pink bag £8 // Mint shopper £8 // Tan cowboy boots £16 // Sleeveless skater dress £5.50 // Chandelier necklace £4  Gem studs £2 // Grey boots £5.50 // Striped bow hairband £1.50

Also spotted these that I love ;
Cut out bowler bag £9.50                 Cat cover £3.50

These items look absolutely gorgeous and their prices are so cheap. They would make great presents for people as well as for myself.

Selfridge's Primark Autumn haul

On the way to the Sea Trek on Saturday we passed Selfridge's which I love. I headed straight for the Primark section and as usual it was set out in a stunning way. The pieces they choose to sell in Selfridge's look really expensive and I love shopping for Primark items in here.

All of the Autumn clothes were in stock and you could clearly see the shift towards darker colours.
I am such a summer person. I always choose dresses in pastels and neon always catches my eye so with this trip I was prepared to tone down and choose classic pieces which will go with lots of different pieces I already own.

First up is this dress. I have moved to Scotland so I will fit in well with this. Tartan is also popular at the moment. I liked how it was shirt-like at the top with a leatheresque skirt at the bottom.
I will wear this as an everyday look but can also dress it up with heels and done-up hair for a meal / drinks. This was only £13 which I think is an absolute bargain as it looks as though it could be out of River Island for around £55. I have worn this already and it's a tight fitting around the shoulders ( or it could just be mine- but I did need help to pull it back off! So try one on first.)

Love the colour of these leggings as they are perfect for Autumn time. I love the stretch of these and also the added pattern on the thigh part. I will wear these with either a black or white top and again can be dressed up or down depending on occasion. These were £6 of my money well spent.

These caught my eye as I was queuing up at the till . The colour will go with nearly everything and I like how they have the leather look on one side but plain and stretchy on the back. Again these were an absolute bargain at £7. Selfridge's you choose well!

I like the bow detail on this dress and the floatiness of it. It has a black lining underneath which hangs slightly lower so it can be seen when worn. Again it's tartan, it's a complete outfit (just need my black shoes with it ) and I'm good to go. This was £13.

I usually go for pink bags from Paul's Boutique or pastel colours. I do have a black satchel though come to think of it. Anyway when I spotted this little beauty looking gorgeously situated on a stand it looked like it would cost £60 . It's perfect for fitting with lots of items, I love the bow and the shape of this bag and for £8 this was staying firmly in my grasp.

These are the same leggings as above but hung up this time. I took a close-up as you can't really see the colour and detail from this photograph.

So that's my Primark haul, after I had just visited a week ago!

Have you visited Primark Selfridge's before?

Primark haul September 2013

Yessssssssss went to Primark! I used to go here regularly and would just pop everything I liked into my basket and go to the till. I used to try and put some items back but would just declare that I wanted it all.

Since moving house though in the last couple of months my priorities needed to be elsewhere so I hadn't been to Primark in a few months. As you can imagine I was that excited to be able to go after such a long time that I didn't sleep very well the night before (ha ha ha ! Least I'm honest!)

So here is what I bought with money I received as a gift. I am incredibly happy with the items I chose. My other half chose two of my favourite pieces which were the jacket and boots. He always looks amazing so I listened and got them as they will go with everything. I usually get pieces that I love that are brightly coloured and Disney-esque and then I realise I'm quite limited as to what they can be paired with .

Anyways here are my items;

Love this jacket so much. I had a River Island black studded, cropped one but it was only a size 8 and I outgrew it and sold it. I needed another one and when my other half spotted this for me it was an absolute must. I had to get a size up as it felt too tight but this one fits perfectly. It was £25

I adore this blue dress so much just look at it! It was reduced to £5 and there was one left so it went straight in the basket without any hesitation!

I'm not really a red person . I adore pinks and pastels but there was something about this dress that I needed . It was £10 and I had just been in Bank and seen a Lipsy one for £65 in a different colour.

I needed some black boots for Autumn/ Winter and went purposefully to come home with some from this shopping trip. These are perfect and comfy, will go with lots of my other clothes and my other half picked these out for me. They were only £15.

This black skirt looks a little creased from the store but it will soon iron out. It was only £3 and I wanted the red one too but they didn't have my size. I'm going to wear this with chunky tights and boots.

Love, love , love neons and this pretty ring was reduced to only a £1.

Needed these gloves in my life. I picked up some bear ones at first but the brown looked a bit murky so I got these cuter ones instead for £2. Gloves are a must!

I wanted some dolly black shoes too as I have shoes in every single colour apart from.....black. These have gorgeous bows. I'm a sucker for bows and look at the diamante parts. These were £6.

These slippers were a final purchase as they were up near the tills. I needed these so much that I just grabbed them and smiled. They are pink, Disney and Bambi so therefore winners. These were £4 and are super snuggly. My friend Lucy had bought me the exact same style in 'Hello Kitty' and they are really warm and comfortable.

Finally - this nail art gem wheel for only a £1. I love nail art and these remind me of being similar to a Nails Inc one.

So that's my haul! <3

Very Berry Boo!

So at this time of year, gone are my ice-cream prints and sandals and out come the cosy outfit selections. (I still wear my ice-cream, summery tops if the heating is on full whack though!)
When it gets to this time of year in the UK, I automatically think of berry colours and this was my inspiration for today.
I don't actually own many berry coloured items and now have inspired myself to go and look for some.
