Clutch me baby - Top clutch bags

Happy Thursday :)

I have gathered together my favourite clutch bags to show you today. My personal style is a cross between a mermaid, unicorn, My Little Pony and Disney and therefore these bags reflect this!

I was drawn to these bags and just had to have them. I do have a drawer full even though I have sorted lots out and gave them away but these ones are too magical and are staying with me.

This one I saw in H&M at Christmas time and bought three different bags at once. Yeah I couldn't face putting any back so bought all of them. Sometimes this is what happens or is it just me? It has pink iridescent glitter on it and I love it so much!

This one has iridescent crystals on it and my mum bought me this from Primark for Christmas.  I did see this when I went at the end of January and they had it in a beige colour too.

I loved this baby pink clutch as soon as I saw it in store at Bank. It was only £12 and I don't have another one in this colour so I bought it. I really want a handbag in this baby pink patent too in the Paul's Boutique Maisy style but I'm yet to find one.

This one reminds me of Mermaids and I loved it as soon as I saw it. It's from H&M and has two separate compartments inside it. The colours remind me of mermaid scales.

This is a gold holographic one from River Island that I bought in their January sale. I adore holographic so much and anything that has it, I want it.

So there are my top 5 mini bags that add that extra something special to an outfit.

A dash of sequins on NYE from Bank

Hope everyone has had a fantastic start to the New Year :)

The alarm went off this morning after the Christmas break and I thought it was still Sunday and that it had gone off by accident!
My new years resolutions are;
<3 To drink more water
<3 To wear a different make-up item, piece of jewellery and clothing each day as I have so much that I need to get wear out of it all.
<3 To read at least one book per month. I absolutely love reading books mostly autobiographies, children's / teenager books, recipe books, humorous ones, fairytale-esque book and basically anything that I find interesting.
<3 To accomplish as many tasks as I can on a day off so that everything is organised and sorted.

I think that is all of them for now that I can think of!

So onto my outfit for New years Eve. The *Ribbon Sequin Top Maxi dress from Bank was originally £55 when I blogged about it and then dropped to an amazing £15 in the sale. Unfortunately it has now sold out when I have just checked but they do have other stunning options available. This Ribbon from Bank dress that I chose to wear is from one of my favourite ever shops and I blogged about it showing the accessories here. This dress made me feel glam and really dressed up and was absolutely perfect for New Years Eve.

The sequins are a really gorgeous shade of purple which complimented the black of the maxi length incredibly well. The top part was comfy to wear as with other sequin dresses they tend to rub on your inner arms and it starts to really hurt and you can't wait to get it off at the end of the night but with this one it's perfect. The black chiffon material on the skirt part is great quality and is quite long but perfect if you wear heels like I did with it. It has a short black skirt underneath to keep your modesty covered up (even after drinking mojitos like I did!) and the rest is quite sheer.

Overall I absolutely love this dress and always shop at Bank when I know I have a special occasion coming up.

My new favourite dress <3 with the first Mojito of the night in my hand! The dress has cut out sides which you can see on the above photo.

The dress features an open sheer back which in hindsight maybe I should have worn a stick on bra. Ah well at least it was purple and matched the sequins!

 New hair colour <3
Hairband- Primark
Necklace- Primark
Make-Up - Benefit
You can see the purple of the sequins clearer on this photo.

Hope you all had a great NYE ,

Love Laura xoxo

Deck the halls with boughs of faux - fur and pom-poms with Ribbon @ Bank Clothing

Hello everyone,

"Fa la la la la, la la la la!"

Whenever I have a special occasion to attend or with Christmas and New Year Eve fast approaching, I always look to my favourite clothing shop to find the perfect outfit. Bank Fashion is THE shop to be at.
Whether it has been weddings to attend, MTV EMA'S, holidays or just a night out, a visit to Bank leaves me deliriously happy. Every time I pop in store there are new items to grab my attention. I can't walk past without going into one but then I want nearly all of the items! I have bought Lipsy dresses from here in the past but I have found that whenever I see a gorgeous item that I pick up it's either the Ribbon brand (My favourite) or by Blonde & Blonde which are two of Bank's own labels. In fact it makes me so happy I think I need a job here.
I have used the on-line store regularly too and they have fantastic sales and super quick delivery. In fact they have upto 30% off party wear and winter essentials  for both men and women right now.

So today I am excited to show you the *Ribbon Faux Fur Pom Pom jacket which you can purchase here.
Especially at this time of the year I find that when wearing party dresses, I like to wear a glamorous yet warm jacket over the top.
I chose this piece because it's a neutral cream colour which will compliment lots of different outfits. I paired it with a dress that I bought from the Clothes Show Live as the gold and cream enhance each other. I feel like a Snow Princess. I wore this outfit to a family Christmas Party on the Saturday.

The perfect winter jacket. It can easily be popped over a party dress and look super glam whilst keeping you snug.
It has a cute toggle fastening plus buttons to ensure that the warmth stays within.
I love how it features pom poms which add to the cuteness of the jacket.
The jacket also has two pockets at the front which you could pop your hands in to keep you toasty warm.

That pink dip dye which was meant to last between 6-10 washes is still going strong about 30 washes later!

Close-up of the gorgeous faux-fur used which sits perfectly. The inside of the jacket is super smooth and is easy to wear and remove.
I do love pink sparkly items but I'm also drawn to skulls hence the necklace shown here from Primark.

The jacket also features a large hood. You can see the lining here which is excellent quality.

Ring- Kukee from the AX Paris party bag. Love the colour of the Druzy. I didn't wear a base coat under my Jacava Passion nail polish and it took four nail polish remover wipes and stained my nails a bit- whoops!

This really is a luxurious jacket and I absolutely love it <3

I would highly recommend Bank Fashion if you want to look like a glamorous Goddess or alternatively fashionably relaxed. They have a wide range of on-trend items which will help you transform into Cinderella in no time.

Dresses contain memories

Memory dresses <3

I adore clothing, especially dresses. Ones that look like mermaids would wear them, Princess dresses, ruffled dresses, prom dresses and gorgeously coloured dresses.
I love how a photograph of a dress can evoke powerful memories. Looking at these photographs again has made me want to dress up and go out dancing. I love glitz and glam and co-ordinating an outfit with accessories. I'm really looking forward to Christmas parties now.

This was for the MTV Europe music awards in Frankfurt. I searched for ages to find a dress and bought two in the end from a favourite shop of mine Bank Clothing. I love how this has 3D flower effect ruffles. The fit was perfect.
I teamed it with my River Island studded biker jacket that I no longer own and these stunning pink bow boots that I found on ASOS.
The feather glitter necklace is Topshop.
Close up of FOTD and multi coloured glitter sparkles on the black feather necklace. It added a sparkle of colour onto the black dress to lift it a little.
I loved this jacket so much as it went with so many outfits. I love the studs and the cropped effect.
I had my three feather extension in at this point too- a purple, and two pinks.
This dress I bought from Bank. I adore the pastelly pink and blue colours. I wore the patent shoes (just seen) from Primark with matching ice blue nails which was bought from Next and chipped so much. This  was worn for my cousin's wedding during the day.
I loved this dress as soon as I saw it in Manchester Arndale. It reminds me of a mermaid. I love the colour, sequins and the chiffony material. The bottom part has ruffles and I wore this to my cousin and friend's 30th Birthday party. It reminds me of having fun with my friend Lucy as I bought this when I was visiting.
This dress evokes memories of my family holiday in Lanzarote. This dress is from River Island and has a pearlescent ruffled part around the neck part. I needed the dress as soon as I saw it. I love the brightnessof the white as it looks fresh and the material is gorgeous. The sandals were super cheap from Primark and they go with so many outfits. The baby pink bag is from Primark and I also have it in blue.
I wore this to another wedding. The dress is from ASOS and I love how it has a little corsage at the top with diamantes on. The patent pink shoes are from Next. This reminds me of a roadtrip to Kendal and Pick and mix sweets.
This is a dress that has memories of a turning point that changed my life. I bought the dress at Bank and it's a Lipsy one. Again this has sequins on the side which is a feature that I love. It fit really well as do all of the Lipsy dresses that I own. The bag was from Republic.

Do you have favourite dresses that have memories?

#BritishBloggerSelection Week 3 Favourite clothes shop

For week 3 of #BritishBloggerSelection which is Ellie's group over at Little Vintage Camera the theme is Favourite Clothes Shop.

Clothes, clothes, clothes. I absolutely adore clothes. I love them so much that I can't fit them into eight drawers, a wardrobe and two rails. I do feel better when I have had a clear out because as the saying goes 'Tidy house, tidy mind' but I still have lots and I still want more <3

So my favourite clothes shop(s) would be Bank, Primark,  River Island and sometimes Topshop.

I adore Primark for its bargains and could happily spend half a day in there as I absolutely love it.
I love River Island for its dresses, jumpers, shoes and cutesy hats.
J'adore Topshop for its jewellery, dresses and makeup section.

However Bank is gorgeous. I cannot walk past this shop without running inside to see the new collections. I love their own brands ( my favourite being Ribbon) and I love Lipsy and Paul's boutique. I was only on their website a few days ago and there are so many utterly stunning pieces that it makes me want them all.

Here are some of my favourites and a link to their website.
(All photos taken from their website here.)

I had to stop here and get off the website quickly because I could just buy it all!
These are absolutely stunning pieces and make my heart flutter!
As you can see I love holographic, hearts, sparkles, turquoise, bling, being comfy, studs, hot pink and black <3
These items are perfect and I want them all :)
These items are perfect for the festive season and also for Christmas gifts.

What is your favourite clothes shop?

Laura xoxo
