What's In My Glossybox For March 2015?

Oooooo my Glossybox arrived just after lunchtime again and I was excited to find out what was inside it. I forgot to mention before that the editor has now changed and the boxes seem to be much improved. Lots of full sized products have been appearing and the quality has upped its game too.

Glossybox, if you've not come across it before, is a beauty subscription box that costs £10 per month plus p+p. It works out cheaper if you pay for your subscription in advance but I just pay for mine monthly. Inside you find a selection of beauty samples and brands that you may not have heard of before. I love these type of boxes as it'l like receiving a Birthday surprise each month.

Let's take a peek at what I found inside this month's box.......

Here's all my products for this month. Straight away I just loved it. It has a varied selection and I will use absolutely everything this month.

First up are these Dove Advanced Hair Series- Youthful Vitality Shampoo & Conditioner. 

As I had my hair balyaged, the blonde has damaged my hair again so anything that helps is a bonus. I've tried other Dove conditioner samples before and they was good so hopefully this new one will be too. Their deodorant definitely does not work for me at all. It lasts around one hour on me and then I start to become unfresh!

Full sized for these would be £5.99 for 250ml so it'll have to be amazing for me to repurchase these.

Ooooo finally a polish in a colour that I love. There were far too many reds that I received in the past and I don't even like red.

This ncLA - Nail Lacquer in the shade, 'Like.... Totally Valley Girl' costs £13 and is their best selling shade. It's also free from toxins too. I've not heard of this brand before so it's a chance to discover something new. Love the shade name. It reminds me of Clueless of Sweet Valley High!

I've not tried many Essence products before so this Lash Princess Volume Mascara will be perfect for me to try out the brand. I love the name of the product as I want princess lashes. This has a cobra head shaped wand to create length and volume which is what I look for in a mascara. It costs £3.30 which is a bargain price.

My lips have been so chapped just recently. I have tonnes of lipbalms and glosses but none that seem to be doing the job of nourishing and caring. Sigh. I love Carmex and I've not tried one of these Moisture Plus Ultra Hydrating Lip Balms before. I like how it gives a berry sheer tint to it too. Hopefully the Vitamin E and Aloe will make my lip in tip top condition. This is more expensive than their other lipbalms and comes in at £4.49.

Finally I have a NAOBAY - Moisturizing Peeling is essentially an exfoliator to remove dead skin cells and to brighten your complexion. At first I thought it was going to be one of those peel off face masks that my mum used to have when I was a little girl. I was feeling the nostalgia and then I realised it wasn't. Oh! This is a full sized product and costs £13.71. It looks like the sort of product you would see in a spa with the crisp whiteness and wood effect. It's from a Spanish brand and is marketed as an organic peeling milk.

So that's my Glossybox for March.

What's In My November Glossybox?

Hello. I hope you are all well.

Today I have my November Glossybox unboxing to show you. I thought I had received it last week and then I got a sudden realisation that it was my missing August box that has only just been resent. It took from August until last week to sort it out and get it resent which is disappointing to say the least. 

Anyway onto this November box. In my e-mail box everyone was sent a spoiler to say that each box was going to contain a Burt's Bees lip product which I was looking forward to receiving. I do love beauty boxes but I'm not sure after Christmas whether I am going to continue with them as I want my Kawaii ones and foodie ones instead. We shall see.

The products were contained in the luxury pink Glossy box with tissue paper, sticker and paper crinkles. It always looks impressive does Glossybox and it's a lovely treat to arrive through the post. 

If you're not familiar with Glossybox, it's a monthly subscription box which contains beauty items and costs £10 plus £3.25 postage and packaging per month. If you pay month by month as you go on, you can unsubscribe at any time.

On first glimpse I was impressed by the contents. I was pleased to see that there is a contents card with information and prices on this month as I didn't like it being online. I was used to having a card in there for quick reference. 

I adore hair care. I could stare at it in Boots for the longest time. I am in search of a miracle, softening and glossy product that makes my curls look fab without any frizz. I can't wait to try out this OGX Argan Oil Of Morocco Shampoo. The oil contained inside is said to rapidly reach the hair shaft and restore shine, soften and strengthen the hair. The full size of this is only £3 for 385ml so if I like it I will certainly be purchasing the full size. The size I received was a dinky 88.7ml. Some subscribers may have received the conditioner instead which I would usually prefer. I needed more shampoo though so I'm happy.

I love eyeliner as it makes my eyes stand out. Without it my eyes look really bare and I notice a difference. I've not heard of this Lollipops Make Up Eye Pencil before but I love the name of the brand! On the card it states that it's international and when searching the website it says that the products are made in France and Italy. I'm liking the look of their lipsticks as well as other products very much. I love that this pencil is twist-up-able as I can never be bothered finding a sharpener. Usually once it's gone blunt I just reach for a new one so with twistables I can use them to the end. 

I love the pink and gold leopard packaging and love how it contains Vitamin E with anti-aging and anti-radical action. I love, love, love that the pencil glides on like a dream too. I get rid of pencils that you need to exert effort or drag across the skin and I can tell already that this is going to be an absolute dream. I will get lots of use out of this product.

The eye pencil costs 14 euros.

Next we have this Monu Skincare- Refining Capri Facial Oil which was so hard to photograph with the days getting darker earlier and the white text on the bottle. The full size of this oil would be £26 for 100ml and I received 30ml. 

"An invigorating facial oil to balance oily skin and decongest pores to ensure that breakouts remain a thing of the past."

The oil contans grape seed, Camphor ( I had to google what this is and it's a white crystalline substance with an aromatic scent and is found in essential oils) and citrus oils. I unscrewed the lid and  sniffed it and I can smell lemons in there.

Oooo I love lip products and haven't had anything from Burt's Bees before. This costs £6.99 and I'm really happy with the shade Pucker that I received. 

"100% natural, sheer colour enriched with moisturising Apricot Wax glides on lips for a sweet and super shiny finish.. so your lips shine as much as your personality." 

This smells deliciously sweet like strawberries and glided on my lips. It feels really moisturising on my lips too. If you touch it, it does have that slightly sticky feeling.

Last but not least I received this H2O+ Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment which would cost £27.50 full sized which is 50ml. I received 8ml in a small tube. You can buy the full size from Marks & Spencer's. 

"This oil-free moisture gel delivers deep hydration while minimising the appearance of fine lines." I usually leave skin products in little tubes but this actually sounds good so I'm going to make a point of trying this out.

So that's November's Glossybox. I do like this box and feel that they are improving and getting back to their roots of where they first started. 

My favourite products this month are the shampoo, eye pencil and Burt's Bees.

What's Inside My Birchbox Telegraph Box?

Today I have an unboxing to show you from Birchbox. They have partnered up with The Telegraph and produced this special edition box.

I haven't had a Birchbox in a number of months now as I stopped my subscription so this box made the the whole experience fresh and exciting again.

If you're not familiar with Birchbox, it's a monthly box subscription that costs £10 + £2.95 postage and packaging. Inside you receive five beauty samples.

The contents are housed in a plain cardboard small box and inside you find that the beauty samples are in a lovely drawstring bag. 

Here's the first look that I got as I opened the drawstring. I was already pleasantly surprised. The beauty products stayed neat inside the box too when travelling.

First up is this nail polish by Soigne. I've not heard of this brand before but I'm loving the shade Pomegranate for its vibrancy. The nail lacquer retails for £11 so already this pays for the box and everything else is a bonus.

I love dry shampoo and use it regularly. It freshens up your hair and gives a lovely scent too as though it's just been washed. This Philip Kingsley spray would be £13.50 to buy full sized so it's nice to receive a luxury product to try out.

Look how this Liz Earle Hot Cloth and Cleanser has been wrapped up!

This retails from £13.25 and is a cult hot cloth cleanser. It is suitable for all skin types and produces clean and radiant skin. I need to try this out this time as I once just gave it to my mum. When it comes to make up I want it all but with skin care it doesn't seem to excite me.

Oooooo I love a bit of Benefit. This mini They're Real mascara is a great addition to have as it costs £19.50 full size. It's a non smudge formula which is great for daytime but hard work to take off at night or you know, the net morning if you've forgotten!

Last but not least I got the Aromatherapy Associates - Relax Light Bath & Shower Oil which would be £39 if it was full sized. I love shower oils as they feel luxurious. The one that I've tried is the L'Occitane Almond Shower oil and that was lush.

What lovely luxe treats in this box.

My favourites are the Benefit mascara and the nail polish. It has made me want to purchase the box again especially the Christmas edition next month.

Glossybox October Unboxing

I love this Pop Art edition for Glossybox October and there were four different colours that were sent out. I love this pink coloured one that I received.  Glossy no longer send a magazine or product card out in the box anymore as it is all online now. I think this is great for saving the environment but I've got used to looking at my little card to read about the products contained inside.

I've received my last two boxes since moving promptly and I'm really happy with them but unfortunately still haven't received my August box even after many e-mails and calls. 

Here are the contents of my box this month and I like what's contained inside.

First up is this Yves Rocher, Quelques Notes d'Amour perfume. This perfume is a little too mature for my taste but I'll still wear it for work everyday. It's a decent sized sample so it will last quite a while too.

I received a full sized Ciate Paint Pot in black which is perfect for Halloween or as a sophisticated monochrome look to pair with black and white. 

I received a So Susan Flutter mascara which is full sized too. I love wearing mascara as it really opens my eyes up so it's great that I've received another one to use. I loved Jelly Pong Pong products and this is the same company. I wouldn't necessarily purchase this product after it's run out as it's too expensive.

I'm excited to try this Nuxe mask out. I've got more into face products just recently and probably because I have so many to use up. I like the sound of Creme Fraiche as it sounds good enough to eat.

 This Rimmel BB cream will be handy to use too and it contains SPF 15 which is a great property to be included. The shade may be a little too light for my skin tone though.

Finally I received this Etre Belle lip peel which I don't really feel to keen on using. I don't like the thought of skin peels. Is this just me? Probably because I've never used anything like this before.

I think that's it a high quality selection of products this month and this is one of my favourite box designs to date. I do still enjoy getting a box of beauty products through the post every month as it's exciting.

My favourite products this month are the Nuxe and the mascara.

Glossybox unboxing September- Designed by Karen Millen

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well.

Today I have my September edition Glossybox which is a special designed box by Karen Millen. I love when the boxes are designed as it adds an extra special something to the whole experience. 

Now this month I have noticed a huge improvement in the quality of the products contained inside and Glossybox seem to be back at the top of their game. I was extremely pleased with this box and after the disappointment of still not receiving August's box this has restored my faith a little. I'm also excited for next month's box also as it's going to be an Andy Warhol inspired pop-art box.

Once again , the gorgeous colour co-ordinated wrapping makes this box look exceptional quality.

Here are all of the products that I received inside my September box. 

First up are these SkinPep- Enzyme and Acid Peel & Peeling gel.

Peeling gel- £3.05 for 3.5ml-  This uses pineapple and papaya extracts to exfoliate the skin gently. Without reading the description I would have been scared to use these sachets. When I hear the word acid my first initial thought is no way am I putting that on my face but after reading carefully I realised it's definitely safe to use.

Eye cream- £6.49 for 2ml- This is a powerful dark circle eraser and boosts collagen under your eyes. As I've got older I wake up with dark circles regularly and frequently use under eye concealer most days. 

Nails Inc woo hoo! This is the Westminster Bridge Matte Top Coat and retails at £12 for 10ml. Amazing to get this in the box!

Vichy- Normaderm Night Detox and Hydrating Care. These two products will come in very handy as they target blemishes which I still get. The full sized day cream would be £12 and the night cream is £15.50 for 40ml.

ModelCo- More Brows Fibre Gel- £14.95 for 3.5ml. This gives the appearance of fuller, thicker brows instantly. I don't tend to do anything with my brows and sometimes I think maybe I should, then the thought passes! I've owned ModelCo products before and they do promotions with Glamour magazine. The products are quite good but the packaging and marketing doesn't grab my attention at all.

L'Oreal Professionnel- Mythic Masque would be £15.50 for 200ml. I absolutely love hair products, especially ones that improve my hair condition and I love L'Oreal so this is a winner. 

My overall verdict is that I am really impressed with this month's box. My favourite items are the L'Oreal hair masque and the Nails Inc topcoat. I also really like the Vichy too.

Glossybox July Unboxing- Stars and Stripes Edition

I love the design of this Stars and Stripes for the Glossybox July edition. The magazine has now gone online and they have uploaded a video to unveil the box too which is keeping up with the flow of social media. The contents are what you would find as American beauty staples. The video gives you a rundown of most of the products that were available for this collectors edition and background information for each one is used for and why they have chosen them.

Great co-ordination going on here with the tissue, ribbon, sticker and cardboard filler.

So here are the items that I received in my box as the first look when I opened the tissue paper. I did neaten them up here as one item was hiding and they're usually all upside down.

First up is ABSOLUTE New York - Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer which retails for $4.99. I tend to use eye primers on a special occasion for keeping my eyeshadow lasting the whole time. I already own the Potion by Urban Decay and a cheaper E.L.F one so now I have a few I can start to use them regularly. All you do is add a little primer to each eye lid and blend in making sure that you have covered them evenly. You then apply your eyeshadow. Et voila!

Carmex lip balm £2.69. I first discovered Carmex at uni as my friend had some in the same round pot as this. I had never seen it before and since then I've used it regularly. This original has a distinct scent to it and it is one of those lip products that actually works and is reliable. The only thing I find with a pot is that sometimes I end up digging my nails in whilst trying to get the product out and so I usually buy the squeezy tubes. The newest addition that they have added to their range is the green tea one. It doesn't cost very much and I think it's an essential to have one on your bag at all times.

Juice Beauty- Green Apple SPF 15 moisturiser. I've not heard of this brand before so it's good to be introduced to new products. The scent is quite citrussy and contains SPF 15 as well as a whole other host of benefits. It's a fab moisturiser but for £35.75 for 50ml it's too expensive for me to repurchase.

Bellapierre Cosmetics Ltd- Mineral Lipstick £20. This is meant to be a cult American favourite and was available in three different shades. I received the red one, in the shade Ruby, which will suit my hair colour. I like how it contains Vitamins C and E and has protection against the sun too. 

Color Club- Glossy Seal nail polish. This colour was created especially for Glossybox this month and so everyone got the same shade. It matches in well with the theme and retails for $8. It's not necessarily a shade I would choose for myself but it's good to try something different.

Overall I think this is a good box this month. There's nothing in here which I wouldn't use and the products add up to way over £10.

My favourite picks this month that I'm glad I received are the Bellapierre lipstick and the green apple moisturiser.
