B-bird Momma Needs Sugar jewellery review

Happy Friday everyone,

I hope you are all well. It's almost the weekend and I'm already thinking about baking some scones to have with raspberry jam and clotted cream. I want to get a cake stand and recreate an Afternoon Tea experience at one point too.

So onto my review. I was kindly contacted and asked to take a look at B-bird's website which I did and fell in love with the 'Momma Needs Sugar' range. This collection encapsulates bright candy colours with a childhood nostalgia which is what I am most attracted to. In this range I love the aqua polo mint necklaces, the cupcakes and Ice-cream bracelet, Care bear rings and their pink macaron ring (To mention a few!)

B-bird's jewellery is handmade and designed in Dorset and their passion is to create and design beautiful jewellery using the finest gems, pearls and crystals from around the world. They have a wide array of jewellery to suit a range of tastes and ages. I particularly love their Swarovski pink heart bracelet and all prices are very reasonable as this is £9.99.

I love the collection header. It reminds me of American diners and pink retroness which I absolutely love.

I was kindly sent two items from the range and they arrived well wrapped in a bubble envelope. Inside, the jewellery had been folded in B-bird stamped tissue paper. I like how the logo has been inked onto the paper repeatedly.

I was delighted with the two pieces that I had been sent. I had spotted the *red love hearts bracelet on the B-bird Facebook page and the *My Little Pony ring was one of my favourites when I browsed the site for the first time. They were separately placed in an organza bag which adds to the thought of the packaging.

The *heart bracelet priced at £4.99 is really good quality and will be perfect for me to either wear mid-week or dressed up for a night out. It's made  up of heart beads and on stretchy elastic. My wrists are tiny so it had a loose fit on me.

I love this *My Little Pony ring so much and they also sell it in pink too. They are also priced at £4.99. I love the bright colours and the cuteness of it. The ring is adjustable to ensure a comfortable fit.

Do you need some sugar in your life? Even my Donut top that I was wearing in the photograph is making me hungry!

Love Laura xoxo

*PR items kindly sent for review with my 100% honest review.

Aphrodite Mood Ring from Cheap Frills

Hello everyone!

Today I'm excited to show you one of my Birthday presents that I received yesterday. I first saw it on my Instagram as I follow Cheap Frills and Georgia has some gorgeous pieces of jewellery. I really wanted the Aurora ring too as it's pink and reminds me of Princesses.

All my life I have loved items such as this. I had two large mood rings when I was younger and I'm sure I still have them somewhere tucked away in a drawer. I love items that change colour and anything magical as I'm just drawn to them.

As soon as I saw the Aphrodite mood ring on @cheapfrills on my Instagram news feed I knew that I had to have this piece of jewellery in my life. You can buy it here for £15 + P+P
It arrived in time for my Birthday and I haven't taken it off since I got it. I keep on looking down at my hand to see what colour it may have changed to!
I love the design of it so much and haven't seen another one like it. It's really vintage looking and fits my finger perfectly as it is adjustable so I just squeezed it together at the bottom. I love the circular shape of it too. So far it has turned orange, orangey pink, blue and green.

It arrived in a pink and white striped paper bag and inside was a cute black box with a special Cheap Frills stamp on it. Inside, the ring was covered with black tissue paper and sat in a little ring holder. Also included was a card which tells you the different colours it can change to and the meanings behind it.

I've never known how mood rings have worked so with my inquisitive mind I did some research and found that the ring is filled with thermotropic liquid crystals. The molecules inside the liquid crystals are incredibly sensitive and start to twist with changes in temperature. This change affects the wavelengths of light that are reflected or absorbed and therefore it changes colour. I find anything like this fascinating even though I don't fully understand it!

This is the cute black ring box that my Aphrodite mood ring arrived in with the unique CF stamp on the front.

I love on the other side of the business card there are the different colour meaning for the mood ring.

When I take Alfie a walk outside this is the colour it changes to at first. I think it's picking up on Alfie's mood as this means excited!

Look at the gorgeous colour. I think it's a perfect sized too when it sits on my finger. I'm having a manicure by OPI at Missoni over the weekend so I've left my nails naked in preparation!

Overall, it's stunning, has perfect packaging and marketing and I'm in love with it!

Do you own a mood ring?

Love Laura xoxo

OOTD #1 Peachy perfection

Here is outfit #1

I actually wore this last Saturday to a house party. I declared I had nothing to wear (which if you were to look I have plenty!) and came across this dress that I hadn't worn before. I originally bought it from Bank online.

The heart ring is an old one from Rebuplic - I love the pastel pink and the heart shape with the little diamantes around the edge.
I really like the Blonde + Blonde peach blazer ( which I bought from Bank)  paired with the cream TFNC dress as it blends well.

I bobby pinned my hair up into a front quiff here and use my curling tongs to give a bit more definition to the curls.

The nail polish was quite day glo and minty which I loved and it's the first time I had worn it. The brand is Color Club and the shade is London Calling. I got them in a Birchbox that I subscribe to and you can get a four pack of colours from here for £10.

Necklace- Primark- from a pack of 3.
