What's In My KawaiiBox January 2015?

I'm always delighted when my KawaiiBox makes its way to me through the post. If you haven't seen my previous unboxings and reviews then KawaiiBox is a monthly subscription box which is filled with Japanese and Korean Kawaii goodies. It costs $18.90 per month and ships for free worldwide.

So today I have my January KawaiiBox to unbox and review for you. As soon as I lifted off the pink tissue paper I was delighted straight away with all of the goodies that I saw. The box has been carefully thought out so that there are a mixture of products and I feel that it is extremely good value for the price. This one has to be my favourite subscription box as it's me in a box!

These are all of the items that I received in the box and so many items were squeezed into this month's collection. I love every single piece again.

As you can see there are a mixture of plushies, stationery items and beauty accessories this month.

I look forward to seeing what foodie treat I will receive in the box and this month's are the two packs of  Rilakkuma biscuits! I love Rilakkuma as he is adorable. It's great to see branded items in the box and I can't wait to try the little bear shaped biscuits.

I've popped all of the accessories together this month. I am in love with the lilac mermaid shell bracelet as that is just me down to a tee. I absolutely love mermaids and pastels and don't have many items in lilac so this is perfect.
I've seen the Hello Kitty glasses before and these are lens free for looking cute in. The little coin purse is sweet and I love how they've included a nail polish this month as I love beauty items. The shade is perfect for me too as I love brights and this coral shade will add some much needed sunshine in this Winter weather that we're having.

Up next are the stationery items which I received three of in this month's box. The cute little pen will come in handy for every day use or for writing blog ideas.
Look how cute the 3d puffy animal stickers are. I need to decorate something with these. Maybe make a blogging scrapbook as that would look fab.
Then finally for the stationary items I received this fun stamp set which is fun to use for decorating plain papers or envelopes or for letters and invitations.

Finally I received a plushie and two mobile accessory charms. The first item I saw when opening the box was this strawberry cake roll plushie and this is my favourite item out of the whole box. Look at her little arms and legs! The charm one in the middle doubles up as a mirror which is very handy and I love the design. The last one is a squishee and as soon as I see them I give them a great big squeeze! He's like a little round marshmallow that makes you feel good!

So that's my January 2015 KawaiiBox review. I can't wait to see what is in my February box and in the meantime I need to put good use to all of these products rather than just storing them up!

What's your favourite item in the box?

Kawaii Wonderland December Lucky Bag Unboxing and Review

Lucky bags, Christmas and Kawaii make me happy and as soon as Shell's Lucky bags from Kawaii Wonderland became available, I snapped one up.
Look at how beautiful the gifts have been wrapped . I love the white polka holographic paper and the additions of the adorable unicorn sticker, tinsel and Christmas card. I thought about keeping it for Christmas day and then the thought left my mind and I opened it up ha ha!

Inside the Christmas card is the most adorable and miniature gingerbread man I have ever seen in my life. Definitely keeping this little fella! What a lovely touch to write a Christmas card too.

So inside of the wrapping paper I found all of these goodies. Some had been wrapped up further to add more suspense. Already the amount of cuteness had me squealing with glee.

After further unwrapping the gifts, this is what I found. All of these fabulous Kawaii goodies crammed into the parcel.

First up are the 'other' items. I absolutely adore this ice cream face cloth. I mean look at the packaging. I don't even want to unroll it and use it, it's that sweet!
Look at the toothpaste squeezer. I've never seen one of these before but as soon as I saw it I loved it. This should get every last squeeze of toothpaste out of the tube whilst looking super cute at the same time.

Onto the sweeties. Maoms are one of my favourite sweets as they are delicious. I love the red and white strip candy cane and lollipop too as they add the festive touch.
In the red packet are panda cookies. Which I've not yet eaten and I'm not sure why (Goes off to munch the biscuits!)

Here's what stationery goodies I received:

Look at the adorable Bourbon-like biscuit pen. I like how it's got the little chain attached so I can pop it onto my keys or pass for work.

The 'My Weekly Schedule' will be great to keep me organised as I'm a very visual person. You can add notes on this to see your week at a view and use it as a to-do list or for events or blog posts.

The cast postcard is beautiful and I may just use that as a picture for decoration.

I love Rilakumma and post it notes always come in handy. Look at him sunning himself on his deckchair whilst I've got the heating on and fluffy socks.

A pair of happy and sad pandas. These are cute with their large eyes. Why is the panda sad though?

These fruity stickers have to be my favourite in the whole of the goody bag. Fruits with little faces that are puffy. Love, love, love them. I need to decorate something with these like a craft box!

Finally I received this little notepaper to write on.

I love bits and pieces like this. I'm super happy with the Christmas lucky bag that Shell from Kawaii Wonderland put together :)

Kawaii Lucky Bag Unboxing

Happy Saturday everyone.

I'm working all weekend but desperately wanted to blog as I have so many ideas for posts. My head has been elsewhere trying to figure out what I want career wise as I'm quite ambitious but then after I put all the hard work in, I start to get confused and think if a change is necessary as it's stressful. I guess I need to take another leap of faith as it's worked for me so far.

Onto today's post. I am so intrigued by lucky bags. I have a longing to know what surprises are hiding inside so when I spotted a Kawaii surprise box on Ebay, I really wanted it. To find it just type in Kawaii box and it's the one with 10 surprises for £10.

No don't get me wrong, this is cute but it's nowhere near on par with the other Kawaii goodies I have previously reviewed.
The surprise box contained a little make up bag / pencil case which is not really my style. It's nice enough but just not Kawaii enough for me so this will be given to someone who will appreciate it more than me.

I then received three packets of post it notes which will come in handy. You don't get very many in the pack though as they're really thin. My favourite design would be the Eiffel Tower and I'm not fussed about the other two.

The little bear book is a cute notebook and I will use this as I like it and paper always comes in useful to make lists, blog ideas, to-do lists, present lists etc.

The little bee is a metal book marker which keeps the page that you are up to when reading a book. I will use this as I've got three books on the go at the moment and I end up using a torn out piece of a magazine to keep my pages.

I received three pens which will come in very handy as I always need a pen at home and at work. Think I will actually take one with me today to write my lists. The little cat is a pen topper which is sweet.

Finally I got two rolls of deco tape which is sweet and I'll enjoy getting craft with these. I'm thinking to use it to decorate empty beauty boxes or for decorating letters and envelopes. It makes me want to start a scrapbook too.

My favourite item in the box is..... I'm struggling here as there's nothing that excites me and makes me think 'oh wow that's gorgeous.' Therefore I won't be getting one of these boxes again as I don't think it was worth the price tag. I love my Kawaii Box and my Kawaii Wonderland ones far more instead.

Do you like the contents of this box?

Love Laura xoxo

My Kawaii Wonderland Halloween Lucky Bag Unboxing

Happy Halloween everyone!

I adore Kawaii items and as soon as I saw Kawaii Wonderland were doing a lucky bag for Halloween, I snapped one up. I love the excitement of Halloween and want to watch Addam's family and Hocus Pocus again. You can't beat a bit of nostalgia. When I was little I used to love lucky bags and as I have grown up I'm still the same and love them. I think it's because you don't know what you're receiving so it's a great surprise and like Christmas or Birthday time and I want to relive that feeling throughout the year too. These lucky bags were £10 each plus postage and packaging and it arrived super quick through the post. The Halloween ones have now sold out but soon Shell is launching some Christmas stocking filler ones which I will be trying to get my hands on too before they sell out.

My items were all inside the pink and white stripy paper bag and held together with the adorable Kawaii Wonderland unicorn logo sticker. When I was opening it up I pulled out one item at a time.
Here are all of the items that I received inside my lucky bag.

These are the Halloween items that I received. These bad boys are going to be keeping my feet warm today. The other choices were Frankenstein socks and variations on colours for the clips and badge. Look at the skeleton hair clips. They are creepy. Think I will wear these in my hair today.
How cute is the little spider badge too! She is adorable. If they looked like this in real life, I would keep one as a pet!

I love Cinnamoroll and here Hello Kitty is dressed up in an outfit and I'm going to put these on my keys.
Rilakkuma is adorable and I received a coffee and chocolate coaster which I'll start using straight away.

I used to have a pen like this and I loved it. You press the little spring down for the colour that you want and write away.
I received Rilakumma stickers which is great as who doesn't love the bear?
Oooo and I love the cat post it notes to stick in notebooks or for remembering pages in a book/ magazine.

Finally I received these sweeties which I think mine were cola flavoured. You get three in a pack and two taste yummy and the third is sour and made me pull a face. I thought I was doing well but then it hit me. It was the last one I ate too!

Overall- I love the lucky bag. My favourite items are the socks and the little cat post its.

What's in my Kawaii Box for October?

Kawaii Box has got to be my favourite subscription box. It includes a tonne of pink, kawaii, girly goodies which I absolutely love. There's a mixture of stationery, plushies, sweeties and accessories and I love the fact that it's a surprise every month. This is my third box now and I have loved every one of them. My August unboxing is here and September's is here.

Here are all of the items that were contained in my October box. As you can see there are so many kawaii goodies packed in to the little mailing box.

How adorable is this zip pouch. It features two compartments and will be great to either store some beauty items, stickers, sequins and gems for crafts or stationery pieces.

How adorable are these three characters? The one on the left is a Rilakumma squishee charm, the middle one is my absolute favourite ( a Numuneko mini plush) and the one on the right is a pencil sharpener.

I love the Hello Kitty pink pen and the cutesie washcloth.

The sweetie bobbles will be used today for putting my hair up for work. I just hope that they don't get tangled up in my curls! This month's candy is this Puccho- grapefruit  which I can't wait to try. Also included is this pink and white panda bear writing set.

The most beautiful stickers ever! Pink and blue pearl (my favourite colours) and cupcake stickers! Just adorable. I need to decorate a jewellery box of some sort with these as they need to be put to use and displayed.

Overall- My favourite items are the Numuneko plush as he is so cute and the cupcake and pearl stickers. I love everything this month as it's a slice of pink heaven in a box.

What's your favourite item?

Kawaii Box Subscription- August

Hello everyone!

Apologies for the huge gap in posting. We moved house again and it has taken weeks and weeks for Sky and BT to get the Internet sorted out. Sob! I have missed blogging so much and have lots of reviews ready to publish.
In other news I trained for a new job in retail this time and started working full time at first with it. It's exciting to use the money to buy homely items such as duvet covers, solar lights for the garden and coral coloured towels! I also got to meet lots of lovely new people which is great as moving to Edinburgh from England and leaving my family and friends meant that I didn't know many people at all.
Also we have a new addition to the family. Teddy Bear who is twelve weeks old and is a fawn whippet. We chose him as he seemed sweet and cuddly and once he had settled in we found out he has a huge personality!

So today I thought I would show you an exciting new subscription box that I subscribed to which is the Kawaii Box . I adore all things Kawaii and so this box was right up my street. The boxes are released every month and I also have the September issue to show you soon too. To subscribe it costs $18.90 a month which roughly works out as £11 odd. The boxes are shipped all the way from Japan and they ship worldwide which is fab. Inside the boxes are a mixture of Japanese and Korean Kawaii products.
I was so excited to open my Kawaii Box and uncover all of the goodies inside. It brought back the magic for a surprise for me as with my makeup boxes some had become a little disappointing so a change was needed. When I laid my eyes on this box, I had to get it.

In the box is this uber-girly postcard sized flyer. I love the design of this.

This is a great little touch to have a hand written postcard note with the box.

The contents arrived inside a small white box and once opened this was my first sighting. The goodies are encased in pink tissue paper and I was so excited already.

These are the entire contents of the box and as you can see you get quite a lot for the subscription fee.

First up are these nail art stickers. I love nail art and the neon colours too so these are a fab addition to the box. They advise to add two coats top coat to keep the stickers on.

Next up is a sweetie kit. I've always wanted one of these to try out and make my own sweets. This one enables you to create a marble of colours and flavours to experiment with too. I find anything like this fun and cute.

The back of the packet shows the cutters that you get inside the pack and the mixing tray for all of the colours that can be produced once mixed.

I love this little watermelon zip purse. This is bang on trend and I love fruity items. It's large enough to fit a few cards and coins inside.

Aloha Rilakkuma post it notes are so sweet and will come in very useful. I love the design of them and tend to collect them rather than actually use them so my aim is to get use out of these!

How sweet is this pencil and eraser set with Hello Okitoki written on them. It contains three pencils, three erasers and a pencil sharpener. This will make writing fun!

I love real life macarons and this is a close substitute for looking at if I can't get hold of the real ones. This is a charm which I think is meant to be attached to your phone. I'd rather have it on a pencil case or keys though. I love the little crystals on the side. I personally would have preferred a different colour such as a pastel shade as that is more me.

Another little charm in the form of a love panda which is super soft and my puppy loves it!

Next is this sweet cards and writing sheets set which has little positive quotes on them.

Kumamon key chain charm. This is tiny which makes it adorable. It has a zip on the reverse which will fit something small in such as a pound coin or a pair of earrings.

I love cupcakes and this ring is gorgeous. It has an adjustable base but the only thing is it's absolutely tiny. My little finger is so tiny and it just about fits on there.

I love the colour of this giraffe charm but it does have a mark on the reverse.

I absolutely love the box so much but I feel that this version has too many keychain charms inside it.
My favourite items are the watermelon purse, stationery set and the candy kit. I feel that it is great value for money and has added the element of surprise each month when I receive a box.
I would purchase again and have already received the September box which I'm equally as thrilled about.

What do you think of this box?

Love Laura xoxo
